Getting STEAM-y

Teacher and student watch robot move

On Thursday, Thomas O'Brien Academy of Science and Technology (TOAST) invited families to see science projects by students in grades 3-5 and then “camp out under the stars” in the gym with lots of STEAM activities (including fun with Duke, the math therapy dog!)

STEAM is short for science, technology, engineering, arts and math.

See a Facebook photo album of the learning fun(You don't need a Facebook account to see the photos linked in the highlighted text. A window may appear that says, "To see more from Albany City Schools on Facebook, log on or create an account,” but you can dismiss it by clicking “not now.”)

Stay tuned for the results from the science fair; students with the top three projects will go on to compete in the citywide Joseph Henry Science Fair on May 19 at The College of Saint Rose.
