City School District of Albany
Led by Superintendent Kaweeda G. Adams, the City School District of Albany and its more than 1,700 faculty and staff strive to provide an academically challenging, safe and welcoming experience for all students.
The district serves about 9,000 students in 16 schools: 12 elementary schools, three middle schools and Albany High School, a comprehensive high school with a career and technical education center. The district also offers additional innovative academic opportunities for students in support of our vision, mission and goals.
Under Superintendent Adams' leadership, the district has developed our vision statement, mission statement and goals, as well as the district's first Equity in Education Policy. These values guide the district’s efforts in all areas as we work together to raise achievement for each of our students.
