On the advice of law enforcement officials, we lifted our precautionary district-wide lockout shortly after noon Wednesday. Standard security procedures are now in place at all schools and buildings, including Academy Park and Harriet Gibbons Student Services Center.
Law enforcement officials have informed us that today's threat was not an isolated incident involving our school district and was part of a threat that affected schools throughout the country.
