Do the Right Thing: recognizing our students

We have partnered with the Albany Police Department and the City of Albany on “Do the Right Thing,” an initiative that acknowledges middle and high school students for their accomplishments, positive behavior and good deeds.

Adult Continuing Education

To encourage people to become lifelong learners, the City School District of Albany offers the community a variety of continuing education courses taught at Albany High School on Wednesday and Thursday evenings in the fall, winter and spring. Additionally, we offer high school equivalency test prep to individuals studying for the TASC exam (formerly known as GED).
