Students and teachers rule at STEM Expo

Student uses virtual reality goggle at STEM Expo

The City School District of Albany’s science and technology know-how was front and center Saturday at the Back to School STEM Expo at the Empire State Plaza.

Visitors got lessons in everything ranging from robotics to chemistry to flight simulation, thanks to Albany High Robotics Team 1493, the elementary all-girl STEMinistas, Thomas O’Brien Academy of Science and Technology and our special guest Barrington Irving, the visionary behind The Flying Classroom digital curriculum used at so many district schools.
