The City School District of Albany’s Extended School Year (ESY) summer program wraps up Friday and our students learned lots (and had fun)!
Since early July, special education teachers and teaching assistants have been leading individual and small group ELA and math instruction. Additional services - speech therapy, social work, occupational/physical therapy - were also provided. Participating students enjoyed art and music therapy plus adaptive P.E. (see photos) as well as the time, and support, to make connections with teachers and peers.
