A Day in the Life: Leah Ascher and Henry Cumoletti

Visit our district Facebook page to take a look at a typical day of learning in Leah Ascher and Henry Cumoletti’s first period World Experience class at Albany High School.

This class for tenth-graders combines two subject areas, with Ascher teaching ELA and Cumoletti teaching Social Studies.

Friday morning’s focus was ELA, with students continuing their exploration of rhetorical devices in speeches, including anaphora – repetition of a word or phrase at the beginning of successive clauses to add emphasis.
