On Tuesday, several of our seniors from the Dual Language Program made a special visit to Albany International Academy to reconnect with the staff and teachers who played a pivotal role in their early education.
Jazzmine Brown, Isadora Carrera, Lucy Edvalson, Ana Martinez, Phillip Shopsis-Kent and Iris Whalen had a fantastic time reuniting with beloved teachers and meeting current students in the Dual Language Program.
The Dual Language Program, which begins in pre-kindergarten, is an excellent way for students to prepare for success in a global society. Instructional time is split between learning in Spanish and English, fostering cultural and linguistic exchanges among students.
Our seniors are eager to wear their Dual Language Program honor cords at graduation on Sunday, proudly showcasing their journey toward becoming bilingual, biliterate, and culturally competent individuals!
