Bot lesson encourages STEM interest

Students practice programming with toy robots.

We have some future programmers among us!

City School District of Albany technology coaches introduced programming to some of our youngest learners on Friday.

The kindergarteners learned how to use Bee-Bots, programmable floor robots that teach students directional language, commands, sequencing and problem solving.

The hands-on discovery activity was a great STEM lesson disguised as fun!
