A day in the life: Alexandra Clary’s first grade

Student threading Froot Loops onto a pipe cleaner to make a rainbow

Visit our district Facebook page to take a look at a typical day of in-person learning in Alexandra Clary’s Dual Language first grade here at Delaware Community School.

On Friday morning students learned about the conditions that form rainbows before diving into a hands-on STEAM project. Using pipe cleaners, Froot Loops and Play-Doh, students constructed their own rainbows, and then documented the process and materials used to create the colorful models.
