Teacher in a holiday hat helps student decorate gingerbread house

Students began with a blank graham cracker canvas affixed to recycled milk cartons. The young artists then decorated with frosting, marshmallows and colorful candies, producing gorgeous gingerbread houses – with a little help and guidance from the grownups.

Students in Yulissa Gomez’s and Alexandra Clary’s Dual Language Program classes at Albany International Academy channeled their inner artists and architects on Friday as they built the delicious dwellings. They’ll get to bring them home, too!
