And they’re off … to middle school!
Spirits were as high as the temperatures on Tuesday as 85 New Scotland Elementary School fifth-graders – along with friends and family – celebrated the milestone of moving up to middle school. Following a brief ceremony, the grads paraded around the school to the cheers of younger students.
Special shout out to outgoing Board of Education member Vickie Smith, who attended the outdoor ceremony and presented each grad with a homemade purple bracelet!
