The positions at Myers during the fourth quarter will include:

  •          1 behavior specialist
  •          2 social workers (one shared with Hackett)
  •          1 music teacher (shared with Hackett)
  •          3 math interventionists
  •          1 custodian
  •          2 reading teachers
  •          2 English and reading interventionists

These positions are among the 93.8 that the district is reinstating during the fourth marking period to support the continued expansion of in-person opportunities for general education students in grades 7-12.

In September, many of these positions at Myers were among the 215.6 the district reduced when faced with the possibility of a 20% reduction in state aid due to the COVID-19 economic crisis.

The fourth quarter begins April 26.
