News

  • After School clubs will begin the week of Sept 26. Student sign-ups will begin on Monday, Sept. 18 during study halls. Head here for a list of clubs and the schedule.
  • Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 26, only students with activated swiper ID cards will be allowed to ride the CDTA for free.
  • Please complete your student's annual consent forms as soon as possible! This page provides parents and guardians the opportunity to complete several annual agreements and consent forms online.
  • SAVE THE DATE: The Myers PTSA is sponsoring a Trunk-or-Treat on Oct. 30
  • Does your student-athlete play a JV or varsity sport? If so, please sign up for a concession stand shift in support of the Albany Booster Club!
  • The Albany Booster Club's Falcon 5k and Fun Run is scheduled for Oct. 1. Sign up for the wonderful community event, held in Washington Park, today!
  • The Myers Health and Wellness program will be up and running soon. It provides free family-friendly meals and hygiene products. If interested, please fill out this application to register. The program is also in need of donations - find a list of suggested items here.
  • The Empire State After School Program, run by the Albany Police Athletic League, begins on Tuesday, Sept. 26. Please print out this application and return it to the main office. Students can also pick up a physical copy in the main office.
  • Any student who is not immunized by Sept 21 will not be able to continue to attend school. Please refer to this list of required immunizations to make sure your child is up to date. We have partnered with Whitney M. Young Jr. to offer free health services to all district students. Here is more information about our school-based health centers and contact information to make an appointment.
  • The PTSA mum sale is underway! Orders are due by Sept. 25. A link to the order form can be found here. Also, don't forget to join the PTSA for the 2023-24 school year. Parents, guardians, students and faculty staff are all welcome! Our parent-run organization can't do what it does without you! PTSA news will be shared via district communication channels and the PTSA Facebook page.
  • The Vegetable Project, a wonderful hands-on program here at Myers, is selling spring bulbs as a fundraiser. The deadline to order is Oct. 13.
