Kindness prioritized at NAMS

Two students share compliments they wrote about eachother.

Libraries – here at North Albany Middle School and in our city – are about more than just books. They build community.

On Thursday, Kimberly Bramfield introduced students to the tale of the Warm Fuzzy. The fable reminds readers that joy should be shared freely and the impact that positive interactions have on a community. Jenna Krong’s students then chose three people to write compliments – or warm fuzzies – about and then gifted those sentiments to their classmates.

The hope is our students carry this important lesson with them always and understand that they can change the world, one warm fuzzy at a time.
