History recognized at Pine Hills Elementary

Third-graders perform a song in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King.

Celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King was a full-school event at Pine Hills Elementary on Jan. 16.

Kindergarten through grade five performed songs, poems and speeches and shared historic facts in honor of the civil rights leader’s legacy.

The annual event is planned by the school’s MLK committee.
