JOB FAIR SATURDAY!
Morgan Austin started as Pine Hills Elementary School’s new Home School Coordinator this. He replaces Aaron Harrell, who returned to the same position at his previous school, Thomas O’Brien Academy of Science and Technology (TOAST).
Austin started with the district in 2004. He worked as a teaching assistant at North Albany Academy, Giffen Memorial Elementary, Eagle Point Elementary and Hackett Middle School before becoming the home school coordinator for the district’s night school program. Austin’s most recent position in Albany - home school coordinator at Tony Clement Center for Education – was part of the 215.6 reductions due to the possibility of the district facing a 20% decrease in state aid as a result of the COVID-19 economic crisis.
