Charter school public hearing

The City School District of Albany Board of Education will hold a public hearing on a request by Brighter Choice Charter School for Boys to decrease its authorized enrollment.

The charter school, which serves students in grades K-5, has applied to its authorizing body, the State University of New York, to lower its enrollment from 325 students to 290 students.

Anyone who would like to have their comments submitted as part of the public hearing record must submit comments in writing to the public hearing facilitator at the time of the hearing. No comments, written or otherwise, will be considered or accepted after the public hearing. Speakers will have three minutes each for comments.
