Distance learning day Friday due to snow

The City School District of Albany will have a distance learning day Friday as the community continues to dig out from the largest snowstorm the city has experienced in decades.

The City of Albany has declared a snow emergency that will begin Friday at 8 a.m. We encourage everyone to stay safe at home Friday, and if you need to go out please exercise caution.

All elementary students will follow the same distance learning schedule Friday as they did in Thursday’s sessions.

For middle school students, Friday will be a Day 1 schedule.

Albany High School students will follow a Day 3 schedule for periods 6-9.

Tony Clement Center for Education students will follow an A Day schedule.

Please visit your school's web page for information about schedules, and you also can access our Google Classroom/Distance Learning resources for additional help with the virtual classroom.

We anticipate returning to our regular school schedules Monday.
